Epic Quest

I have to tell you, this game is something; the only thing that annoyed the $rap of me is the ingame Newsgrounds ads. But the game itself is pretty neat. Everything you expect from RPG flash game is in it and some more too… Game art work and animation is awesome, theme looks kind of deathish metal-gothic something, but it smells RPG, dungeons (even though there are no dungeons in the game) and adventures.

Game mechanics and fighting styles are usual TBS, if you never heard of TBS game you should probably leave right now… I’m just kidding, if you never heard of TBS (turn based strategy), it’s when you do your move and then wait NPC/Computer enemy to do its move etc. Which obviously means this isn’t a hardcore hack n slash type of game like Diablo. Nonetheless, game has RPG elements, cool characters, items, experience and leveling system, awesome fighting scenes and lots of other good stuff.

Action points – pay attention to your action points since every move in battle requires some amount of AP. When your AP reach zero, your turn will end. You will gain more action points at the start of your next turn. Battle Stage – Use attack commands to attack enemy, each attack has its own element so you need to use them accordingly. Right next to attack commands there is a menu for tactical commands, with this commands you can relocate monsters in your party, increase resistances and defend or you can end your turn to get more action points. Below the commands window, there is an inventory: items from your inventory are accessible in the battle but be careful since they are not free and you will run out of items. You can always buy new items from the shop when you get some cash.
